WOw! This is ironic! I saw a pay it forward tag on Sarah's blog, and I was lucky enough to get in on it. And then on the same day, I got a total surprise in the mail from Elaine! Elaine moved to the midwest, but she used to live her in Sacramento. She's a fabulous artist, and she is sooo super sweet! She sent me a vintage sewing book. This is just one image from it!
So back to the Pay It Forward Swap... here's how it works:
I promise to send the first 3 people that comment on this post a small gift within the next year. And in return, they post a pay it forward swap on their blogs!
Good Luck Ladies! And thank you, Elaine for the unexpected gift!!
In other news... I'm trying to re-coop from a major overhaul in the house. I got the carpets cleaned 2 days ago for two reasons, 1. I have a 3 and 6 year old so it was just time, and 2. I'm not quite the dog whisperer I thought I was when we got the puppy.... I don't know how to make an angry face with type keys... but trust me... I'm making an angry face right now. So, anyway, everything had to come up off the floor and go into the garage and the front porch, etc. So then rather than just be easy on myself and put everything back where it was before... I had to go and start re-organizing it all. Ah the drama. My 3 year old has slept with the 6 year old for 2 nights now because my sewing room is still overflowing onto her bed. LOL! So my goal is to have that table all cleaned off and put into nice little bins and drawers by the end of today so I can work for Glitter and Grunge, and PLUS, Nicole is going to be here on Wednesday and we are gonna need to be able to sew too!! But She's also the queen of organizing, so she'll help me too, cause I need it! LOL! (Do I sense a little pitty party going on here... I think I do!)
