I started a new etsy team called Hella Crafty. The purpose is to kind of unite Bay Area and Nor Cal crafters. I live right in the middle of San Francisco and Sacramento, and I would love to be the host to this new venture where we all meet up in the cyber world to share information on shows, supplies, or ask questions, or just make friends. If you are a crafter selling on ETSY, and you are based in Northern California or the Bay Area, please join the Hella Crafty Etsy Team here! (And for those of you who don't know... we use that word a lot here. LOL! It's like wicked on the East Coast :)
In other news, I worked very hard through the holidays. The weather here has been pretty nasty by my standards. I've decided anything less than 54 degrees is TOO COLD for me to get out of bed... but I do it anyway, I just feel validated in my complaints when I do. I'm born and raised in CA, and I. hate. winter. (hella.)
I made this cute bear for Katy. She was so sweet to commission her. Katy sent me the fabric for the paws and ears, and a cute little hand drawing of what she had in mind. I was super stressed cause I love Katy and her work, and I wanted her to be happy... and she was :) So I can sleep easy again :) Thanks Katy!! xoxo
This is one of the dozen or so custom dolls I made over the last few weeks. There are a lot of little girls in Dixon running around with Crafty Carnival dolls this holiday (yay! :) This one went to my friend Lisa of Just Fun Designs. (I got so busy and hurried, I didn't get pictures of the other dolls... which is a bummer, cause some of them were super cute... and a little different :)
And this little doll is so ugly she's cute. She's a little elfy lookin thing that I made a few months back as an expirament... and i've just had her lying around ever since! She kinda makes me happy in her little nudist kind of way.
I don't know what I'm up to next. I have one more order to finish, and I'm re-arranging my craft room too. But the ideas are flowing again, and I'm thankful for that.... if you have an idea or request for a Valentine printable, please share. I'd love to offer one! xoxo Missy
